AWARDS
Medals to all individuals finishing 1st - 3rd place in Expert, Sharpshooter and Marksman in each division.
OFFICIALS
Sport Coordinator.
Chief Range Officer
Equipment Inspector (May be the CRO, Sport Coordinator or his designee).
Jury (Usually the Chief Range Officer, Sport Coordinator or his designee ).
A Protest Committee consisting of the event coordinator, a neutral third party, and a member of the executive staff shall be assembled on matters regarding protests. The decision rendered by this committee is final
EQUIPMENT
Any .22 cal Center fire handgun
FACILITY
Must be an outdoor facility with a minimum of 12-15 firing points.
GENERAL RULES / SPECIAL REGULATIONS
National Rifle Association, (NRA) (International Pistol Rules)
Each competitor must have
their firearm (weapon) officially examined and approved prior to the competition. Only firearms which have been approved for
the competition may be used.
Competitors may do scoring of targets, or the Host may have the club/facility members pull and score targets. All matches will be held at the 25 - yard line. NRA Rules for bulls-eye pistol will apply to all equipment and procedures .
Course of fire:
- 20 rounds of slow fire in 2 strings of 10 rounds within 5 minutes
- 20 rounds of timed fire in 4 strings of 5 rounds, 20 seconds per string
- 20 rounds of rapid fire in 4 strings of 5 rounds, 10 seconds per string
- Total of 60 rounds for a possible score of 600 in each match
Eye guard is MANDATORY. Failure to use eye guards will result in disqualification from the event.
Current NRA rules shall apply to this sport except where the USFFG rules take precedent over the NRA Rules, such as eligibility, awards, number of team members, etc. When there is any conflict or the coordinator needs a ruling regarding these matters the sport Coordinator has the ultimate authority.
