GENERAL INFORMATION

A participants meeting will be held prior to the event will explain the rules and regulations, the start time and locations.

All players begin play in the winners bracket.  To proceed through the winners bracket a player must win two out of three games.  The three games shall be played as follows:

                Game 1 - 301 Double On - Double Off

To start - each player throws one dart at the bulls-eye.  The player closest to the bulls-eye goes first.  If a players dart does not stick in the board, the player shall re-throw until the darts sticks.  If a tie exists, the players shall re-throw until a clear winner is determined.  This is called a "diddle".

A player must hit a double to begin the scoring.  Every dart after the double scores.  The player throws points to subtract from 301 points.  When the player is attempting to finish the game, they must hit a double to win the game.  If a player scores more points than the points left to win, they will have "busted" and the points left will remain the same.  If a player scores points and has only one point left, they will be considered "busted" and revert to their previous score.

                Game 2 - Cricket

The players shall diddle to determine who goes first. The object of this game is to hit specific targets.  The targets are as follows: 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15 and bulls-eye.  Each target must be hit three times.  If the opposing player has not hit the target three times then points may be scored by hitting targets additional times while the opposing player still has that number open.  The winner shall be determined by having the targets closed and total points

Game 3 - 301 or Cricket (player winning diddle chooses game)

The loser of the match goes to the losers bracket

Losers bracket:  A player will advance in the losers bracket by winning 2 out of 3 in the same format as outlined above.
