EVENT:
The event is divided into the following divisions and age groups:
2- Person Beach 4- Person Beach
Mens - Open Mens - Open
Womens - Open Womens - Open
CoEd - Open CoEd - Open

If there are not 6 teams for each division - the divisions will all be combined into 1 event

AWARDS:Medals to all individuals in each division and age group.
OFFICIALS
Sport Coordinator: Supervises all facets of event.
A Protest Committee consisting of the event coordinator, a neutral third party coach, and a member of the executive staff shall be assembled on matters regarding protests. The decision rendered by this committee is final.FACILITY
SCHEDULING
A captains briefing to be held prior to the event will explain the rules and regulations, the start times, and locations. It will also be utilized for placement of the teams for the seeding round and the placement in the round robin pools. Teams from the same department will be separated into different pools.
GENERAL INFORMATION
USA rules.
The seeding round will be utilized to determine the top teams for advancement to the medal round. The format for this seeding round will be round robin with an equal number of teams placed in each bracket. This seeding round will consist of two (2) games of rally scoring to 30 points, winner winning by two (2) points. The top 2-4 teams may advance based on the number of entries. (Final numbers will be given at Captains meeting) Advancement will be based on win/loss record in Round Robin bracket. Ties will be broken by: head to head record, points scored and if still tied, by points against.
The medal round will be double elimination, with matches being 2 out of 3 games. All games rally scoring to 30 points winning by 2 points.
Co-Ed Special note - The team must be comprised of an equal number of males and females. The female does not have to touch the ball prior to its placement over the net.
